Export from Pro Tools:
- Select the MIDI tracks you want to export. You can do this by clicking on the track names in the Track List.
- From the menu bar, go to File > Export > MIDI.
- In the Export MIDI Settings window, select the desired options:
- MIDI File Format: Choose format 1 (multitrack), which exports each MIDI track separately to the file.
- Resolution: Set the resolution of the MIDI file to 480 or 960.
- Include: Choose which MIDI data you want to include in the exported file. As of version 0731, ASI responds to notes, velocity, CC11 for dynamics, and CC64 for note grouping.
- Options: Make sure you include tempo changes.
- Click OK.
